Wang Chung is an English new wave band that consists of members Nick Feldman and Jack Hues, and was formed in London, England. Wang Chung was formed in the late 70’s and was formed by the duo. At the time, the band also consisted of members Bud Merrick and Paul Hammond and they went by the name Intellektuals before splitting up. The band then went on to begin as Huang Chung with Feldman, Hues, and Darren Costin and they then released their self-titled debut studio album. The band went on to release a second album, “Points on the Curve,” still under the name Huang Chung, and then changed their name to the current Wang Chung and released their third album, “Mosaic.” Mosaic earned them the most popularity in the United States where it earned RIAA certified gold. Their second album, Points on the Curve, peaked in the charts in countries which included UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, and the Netherlands. They have since gone on to release three more albums over the years which include “The Warmer Side of Cool,” “Tazer Up!,” and ‘Orchesography.” Some of Wang Chung’s most popular singles over the years have included “Don’t Let Go,” “Dance Hall Days,” “Wait,” “Everybody Have Fun,” and “Let’s Go!.”.
