Margaret Hoover is an American political commentator, political strategist, media personality, and author who is the great granddaughter of the former United States President, Herbert Hoover. Hoover was born in Colorado and has previously earned her B.A. in Spanish literature with a minor in political science from Bryn Mawr College. She began her career working for the George W. Bush administration where she was an Associate Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. During her time working with Bush, she worked on his reelection campaign, was Deputy Finance Director for Rudy Giuliani, worked on Capital Hill for Mario Diaz-Balart, and was an advisor to the Deputy Secretary for the Department of Homeland Security. Most recently, she has been the host of “Firing Line with Margaret Hoover” which has been featured on PBS.
