Timber Timbre – comprised of Taylor Kirk, Simon Trottier, Mathieu Charbonneau, and Olivier Farfield – is an alternative folk-rock band from Bobcaygeon, Ontario. They’ve released six albums since 2006. The first two, “Cedar Shakes” and “Medicinals”, were released independently in 2006 and 2007, respectively. In 2009, they made their self-titled studio debut under the label Out of This Spark. The album was re-released under the label Arts and Crafts, which released every subsequent album afterwards. Their fourth album, “Creep On Creepin’ On’, hit number 20 on the Canada charts and was nominated for the 2011 Polaris Music Prize award.
