Spicer was born in Manhasset, New York, and he earned his B.A. in government from Connecticut College where he was also a student senator. Spicer has also been the communications director and spokesman for the House Budget Committee, was the communications director for the Republican Conference of the U.S. House of Representatives, and was the assistant for media and public affairs at the Office of the United States Trade Representative. He has also been partner at Endeavor Global Strategies, and has been the communications director of the Republican National Committee. Since leaving the White House, Spicer has published the book “The Briefing,” and has been a contestant on “Dancing With the Stars,” as well as has begun hosting a political talk show on Newsmax TV..
