Dominick Martin, who goes by the name Calibre, is an Irish drum and bass musician and DJ. From a young age, as a classically trained musician who learned to play an insane number of instruments, he’s been writing and performing as a drum and bass act. DJ Fabio caught wind of Calibre and signed him to the record label Creative Source. He went on to study Fine Arts at the University of Ulster in Belfast, Ireland. Since 1995, he’s earned quite the reputation as being one of drum and bass’s “quietest” performers. Yet, his sound is completely unique and very recognized to this day, making him one of the most iconic names in drum and bass music.
