Jahmaal Noel Fyffe (or Chip or Chipmunk), is an English songwriter and rapper who hails from Tottenham, North London. During his 14 year-long career, he’s collaborated with massively famous rappers like T.I., Skepta, Meek Mill, Young Adz, etc. “I Am Chipmunk”, his debut album, dropped in 2009 to much success and internet buzz. Four songs from the album peaked in the top 10 positions of the U.K. Singles Chart -- most notably, fan favorite "Oopsy Daisy". Chip dropped his sophomore record “Transition”, and album that was very inspired by American hip hop groups. The single "Champion" featured Chris Brown and peaked at number 2 on the U.K. Charts. In 2012, Chip was signed to T.I.’s Grand Hustle Records, which prompted the already world-famous rapper to move to Atlanta. On Christmas of that same year, Chip released "London Boy", which featured rappers Meek Mill, Skepta, Movado, and a few others. In 2021, Chip released “Snakes and Ladders”, the fifth total studio album. The British rapper has been nominated for six awards since 2008 and has taken home four of them: Best U.K. Newcomer and Best Hip-Hop Act during the 2008 MOBO Awards; he also took home The UGG Award for Urban/Garage/Grime during the MP3 Music Awards and then he took home yet another MOBO Award for Best Grime Act in 2016..
