His great grandparents raised him to attend church, where he played the drums for the church choir. Sometime later, Channel Tres began to study music at a private Christian university in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Channel Tres returned to California, where he met up with 88rising star August 08 – his childhood friend – who hooked him up with some studio time and the rest is history.
