Dboy is one of the most unique bands on the scene right now. They are a trio, although you never see the other two gimp’d out members – only the lead singer, whose interesting style combines hipsterdom with something that looks like he’s some kind of world leader. There must be something to that, as their very first single album is “Dboy for President” and it consists of the titular track, along with “Scouts Rule” (their fanclub is also called ODSO, or the Official Dboy Scout Order), and “Communique: a Campaign Born of Denim and Flesh”. That same year, they released two more singles: “ATTN SPAM” and “Satellites of Luv”. The next year, they released “Red Ultra Glide” and the singles “Why Do You Only Luv a Dboy (Who’s Down)”, and “Thumbless”. Recenlty, in 2022, Dboy dropped their official EP “Post Modern Trash”, which featured the songs “Chinese Restaurants”, the titular “Post Modern Trash”, “Southern Drawl”, and “Suburban Bones”. They also released the single “Bus”, which featured Dj Sira SA. They have typically released songs and albums on Valentine’s Day to give people something to focus on when that day of love arrives.
