Dream State is a punk and post hardcore band from South Wales. They’ve been on the scene since 2014 and just one year later, they released their EP “Consequences”, alongside the singles “Burn Them Down” and “Rebuild, Recreate”. Currently, the band consists of Aled Evans on lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and lead vocals, but the other two members (on bass and drums) are unnamed. Previously, the band consisted of Sam Harrison-Little, Danny Rayer, Jamie Lee, Charlotte-Jayne “CJ” Gilpin, and Rhys Wilcox. Their debut studio album “Primrose Path” was released in 2019 and it hit the number 100 spot on the U.K. chart. They were inspired by bands like Linkin Park, Slipknot, and Tool. They can also be described as an alternative rock band. They have signed to the Australian record label UNFD back in 2017 before releasing their second EP “Recovery”. In 2018, they won the award for Best British Breakthrough and a year later, they won Best U.K. Breakthrough Band. Their single “Twenty Letters” dropped in 2019 after it premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1’s Future Sounds.
