Elise Ashlyn Trouw is a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter from Newport Beach. Elise made her way to San Diego at an early age, where she learned to play the piano using the song “My Immortal” by Evanescence as her inspiration. When she was ten, Elise learned to play the drums in Fallbrook, California. Strangely, she gained an interest in playing the drums after playing the popular video game Rock Band. She went to The Bishop’s School La Jolla for a few years, where she perfected her musical craft. After graduating, she set off to make music her career and path in life. She joined the Grammy Foundation’s Grammy Camp alumni, where she performed alongside Sam Hunt at Club Nokia in 2016. That same year, she was called one of San Diego’s best new bands by NBC 7’s SoundDiego. The next year, they named her Breakout Artist. Elise signed a one-album deal with Pacific Records. She ended up leaving, buying out her contract while managing to hold onto all the rights of her music. In 2017, she released “Unraveling” and in 2020, she dropped “2017-2019 Collection” and “Studio Live Session – Little Beg Beat Studio” in 2020.
