Ferris and Sylvester is a folk duo comprised of London natives Issy Ferris and Archie Sylvester. They dropped their first EP called “The Yellow Line” in 2017, which garnered them a fair amount of attention. The next year, they released their second EP “Made in Streatham”, followed by their third EP “I Should Be on a Train” in 2019. In 2022, they released their debut full-length studio album “Superhuman”. They are known for the songs “Better in Yellow” and “The Room” which were both features on their debut EP. The two of them met through the Spiritual Bar community, which is a folk blues bar located in Camden, London. It’s a family of musicians, as they’d describe it. Archie had been playing there for quite some time by the time Issy joined in on the fun. They had a mutual friend that brought Archie along to one of her shows in West London. Archie originally showed up as a wing man for his friend who fancied Issy, but instead, Archie recruited her to be in his band. According to Archie, he kicked out the other members and it was just him and Issy from that point on and that’s how it remains to this day..
