Games We Play is a Nashville based pop punk band that first got together back in 2015. It wasn’t until 2018 when we first got to hear the kind of music they were putting together. In 2018, they released the EP “Senior Year”, which consisted of five songs: “Never Let You Go” (the EP’s first single); “Kiss Me”; “Stuck in the Middle”; “Please Don’t Go, Victor Wong”; and “Teenage Girlfriend”. After taking some time for four years and through the pandemic, Games We Play finally released a song called “Story of a Love Song”, released in 2022. Frontman Emmyn Calleiro wrote it, being inspired by his relationship with his wife. The song is energetic and full of punchy guitar riffs. The singer of Games We Play didn’t always set out to have a career in music. But it was when he joined theater as an actor and was cast in a musical where he realized there was something to performing music life that he just really clung to.
