Hunny (or HUNNY) is a California indie rock band that’s been around since 2014. Currently, the band consists of Jason Yarger, Jake Goldstein, Kevin Grimmett, and Joey Anderson. Previous members include Jake Munk, who left the band back in the winter of 2016, and bassist/founding member Gregory Home, who left in 2018. Gregory and Jason were friends since they were in school and music was a big part of both of their lives. Other members of the band were around town and some were even members of local bands like Bad Suns and The Neighbourhood, both of whom went on to make big names for themselves in their own right. In 2014, Hunny released their very first single “Honey Blonde” which was considered a success. One year later, they released their first EP “Pain/Love/Aching”. In 2017, they released their second EP “Windows I” and then a year later, they released the follow up “Windows II”. After this, in 2019, Hunny released their very first full-length studio album “Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.” under Epitaph Records, which they recorded with Grammy-winning producer Carlos de la Garza. Most recently, Hunny released the 2022 EP “Homesick”, which followed the release of three singles: “Sports With Strangers”, “Xbox Luvr”, and “Daydreams/Heartbreaks”..
