Liily is a hard rock indie band that hails from Los Angeles. They really made waves in LA’s underground scene back in 2018, when they dropped several singles and their very first EP. Liily, being an indie band with a harsher hard rock punk sound, takes inspiration from bands like Rage Against the Machine but also more melodic and soft bands like Foals. Dylan Nash, the singer, first got the band together alongside guitarist Sam De La Torre and bassist Charlie Anastasis and Maxx Morando (the drummer). They were only teenagers at the time but they made their debut with the single “Toro” which has garnered a lot of praise and positive feedback and has even accumulated nearly 7 million plays on Spotify. The song was featured on the EP “I Can Fool Anybody in This Town” which also featured the song “Sepulveda Basin”, which has accumulated over 2 million plays, and “Sold”, which has over 4 million. In 2021, they dropped their debut studio album “TV or Not TV” which featured the single of the same name.
