It all started when Jed, who plays drums, visited Le Surfing, a local bar on the Estagnot. It was here where he met Rory and the two of them instantly hit it off and decided to start a band. Later, Pete joined the band, along with Robin Windram (who later left). At first, they were a cover band called The Cheerleaders and moved to Tignes and Val d’Isere in the French Alps, performing for different ski resorts. In 2014, they released their debut EP called “Le Surfing”, which references their origins as surfers. The EP features four songs: “She Wants”, “On the Road”, “Loa”, and “No Way Home”. The next year, they released “The Fall Line EP” along with the live version of that EP and the “She Wants EP”. One year later, they released their debut full-length album “Very Rarely Say Die”. Three years later, in 2019, they dropped “Blood rush Déjà Vu”. Most recently, they released the 2022 album “Too Many Humans, Not Enough Souls”.
