The Murder City Devils are a garage rock/punk band that was founded in 1996. The band consists of Spencer Moody, Dann Gallici, Derek Fudesco, Coady Willis, and Gabe Kerbrat. Previously, the band also featured the members Nick Dewitt, Nate Manny, and Leslie Hardy. The group former in Seattle, Washington and they quickly begam writing, producing, recording, and performing their music. The Murder City Devils released their debut full-length self-titled album in 1997. The album was released under Die Young Stay Pretty Records, and it was considered a very strong introduction to The Murder City Devils’ signature gothic garage punk sound. The next year, they released “Empty Bottles, Broken hearts” which was considered an even stronger entry and reviewers felt this is when they really started to settle into their sound. In 2000, they released “In Name and Blood” under Robert Lang Studios and in 2014, The Murder City Devils released “The White Ghost Has Blood on Its Hands Again” and it was their first big release after the band exited their several year hiatus. The album was self-released and is only available on LP. While that was their last release, the band is still active, having played at the 2021 Punk Rock Bowling and Music Festival in Las Vegas..
