Magda was born in Zywiec, Poland, and she and her family relocated to the US in 1986 when she was eleven years old. She gave in to the allure of DJing while she was a college student and launched her DJ career in 1996. The first Run Stop Restore productions, which are located adjacent to Magda by Marc Houle and Troy Pierce, were released in 2003. Magda was most known for their work on Richie Hawtin's record label M nus, where, among other things, the mix album She's a Dancing Machine was released in 2006. 72-track album finished sixth in the Best Albums chart.
