Born in Los Angeles, Ryan Best grew up in Philadelphia, where he fell in love with music. He began collecting records at an early age after being influenced by Rock & Roll, R&B, and Hip-Hop. His father, a musician/songwriter before he was born, influenced him to love music history, songwriting, live performance, and DJing. Mr. Best soon studied DJing after acquiring his first set of equipment and started at local bars and lounges. He became a popular college DJ in Philadelphia. Soon, he moved back to Los Angeles to become a DJ. The Dime in Hollywood hired him as their only DJ. The bar drew musicians, celebrities, and locals.  The Dime landed major LA gigs. MR. BEST began DJing Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Emmys after-parties and movie and TV premiere events such as Seven Pounds, Salt, Burlesque, Black Swan, Lost, and The Office. He was the go-to DJ for US Weekly's Hollywood Hot Party and GQ Man of the Year Awards for 6 years. His impact has stretched to Vegas, where he's done events for Lady Gaga and Polaroid. Soon, Mercedes Benz, Viacom, and Paris Hilton, Lauren Conrad, and Britney Spears hired MR. BEST.  The Dime owners named MR. BEST resident DJ at Winston's. MR. BEST became Music Director for all three venues. The clubs became Hollywood hot spots, leading to stories in Vanity Fair, LA Confidential, The Los Angeles Times, and Us Weekly. In a Teen Vogue cover story, he worked with Ciara and Frederick Helwig.  Mr. Best has mastered Video DJing and threw Hollywood's hottest monthly video mixing party. He and DJ Spider did official remixes for major musical companies, including Usher, Ciara, and Far East Movement.
