Laurie Yoler is Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.'s Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mrs. Yoler was GrowthPoint Technology Partners' Managing Director. As an executive, advisor, investor, and board member, she's helped young digital firms grow for 25 years. She's on public, private, and nonprofit boards. Mrs. Yoler was chief development officer at Intellectual Ventures, researching invention and investment prospects in software, user interface design, semiconductors, electronic devices, consumer items, lasers, biotechnology, and medical devices. Before joining Intellectual Ventures, Mrs. Yoler was co-founder and VP of marketing and business development for Precision I/O, a start-up focused on server I/O bottlenecks in data centers and HPC environments. While in Europe, she served on the EU Financial Issues Working Group, which provided technology recommendations. Mrs. Yoler was the director of product development and management at Visa, where she planned and implemented new banking products like the Visa Check Card and consulted with U.S. banks on risk management. Mrs. Yoler worked for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and Coopers and Lybrand before joining Visa (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Mrs. Yoler is on the boards of the Washington State University Research Foundation, the Harold Frank Engineering Entrepreneurship Institute, DNA Direct, and TiE Clean Tech.
