The band's new album, "The Five Ghosts," is the follow-up to their previous release, "In Our Bedroom After the War." Amy Millan, Evan Cranley, Torquil Campbell, Patty McGee, and Chris Seligman, the band's five members, contributed to the writing of "The Five Ghosts," which was then recorded in Montreal. In classic STARS fashion, the song was created by all five members. Andrew Whiteman, a singer-songwriter from Toronto and a member of Broken Social Scene, makes a special appearance on the album as a guest artist.
Fixed, the infectiously melodic pop melody featuring Millan on vocals, is the first single released by Five Ghosts and is available on iTunes.
STARS are planning to go on a tour of the United States during which they will perform the album The Five Ghosts in its entirety. Additionally, they will play fan-selected tracks from their back catalog such as "Take Me To The Riot," "Ageless Beauty," and "Your Ex-Lover Is Dead.".
