An American actress, singer, and television director with the name of Kim Victoria Fields. She is well known for and continues to win praise for her performances as Regine Hunter on Living Single and Tootie Ramsey on Diff'rent Strokes/The Facts of Life. Kim is the daughter of Laverne "Chip" Fields, an actress and director.

Kim launched her career at a young age by competing with Janet Jackson for a role in a Mrs. Butterworth's pancake syrup television commercial. Several years later, Kim and her mother relocated to Los Angeles. On the short-lived sitcom titled Baby, I'm Back, Kim was offered a regular role.
