Author and speaker Lisa Brenninkmeyer encourages women to embrace the transformative power of God's unwavering love. She started the Catholic Women's Bible study program Walking with Purpose with the goal of seeing women come to know Christ intimately. She made the decision to bring about change after hearing numerous accounts of women who yearned for connection, sought out a secure environment in which to discuss their religious beliefs, and required a means of refueling and being renewed. Walking with Purpose, a Scripture-based program that is current, pertinent, and centered on heart conversion, is the outcome of her holy discontent. The most fascinating thing in the world, in Lisa's opinion, is to combine her love of women and her fervent devotion to Christ. Lisa has always loved the Bible and the Author of it. She and her sister were raised as evangelical Protestants in Minnesota, where they frequently observed their parents leading Bible studies. She joined the Catholic Church in 1991 because she couldn't resist her Catholic partner. After being married, they lived in Mexico and Germany for the following ten years while also expanding their family. Lisa started studying the Catholic Church's extensive doctrines as she created curricula and led Bible studies for women and kids. She has been highly impacted by St. Thérèse of Lisieux's spirituality, her spiritual director's tolerance with her many inquiries, and the writings of other converts, who have all contributed to her reaching a position of joy and contentment inside the Church. Lisa graduated from St. Olaf College with a B.A. in psychology. She resides in Annapolis, Maryland, with her husband Leo and their seven children.
