Aletha started working as a DJ in 2017 and soon became a frequent radio presenter. Initially with regular broadcasts on KMAH Radio, Narr, Sable Radio, Melodic Distraction, and most recently Worldwide FM. Along with several guest appearances on radio stations including Jazz FM, Rinse FM, and NTS, her versatile and insightful track selection has also paved the way for several podcasts, including the "Shine a Light on" mix for Ransom Note, the "Subculture mix" for Sub Club, and the Dimensions mix series. Aletha started out in clubs all across the UK as a support act for artists like Bradley Zero, Mr. Scruff, and Zakia, choosing an eclectic blend of jazz, broken beat, and soulful house. Since then, Aletha has played at prestigious events in a variety of settings, from massive warehouses like Printworks and The Beams to listening bars like NAM and Brilliant Corners. She also worked for Manchester's Warehouse Project as a resident for the previous two seasons (her home city). Aletha's appreciation of electronic music has more recently been evident in all of her performances. Expect sets that mix genres and include acid, house, breaks, and electro.
