Sasha DiGiulian, the most honored and possibly the best female climber in the world, is continually challenging preconceived notions of what is possible. She has won the title of Female Overall World Champion twice in the course of her career, held the title of unbeaten Pan-American Champion for ten years, been the U.S. National Champion three times and toured to over 50 different countries while completing over 30 First and First Female Ascents. She advocates for gender equality in sport, access, compensation and treatment of female athletes as a woman pursuing a career in a domain that is typically controlled by men. In an effort to improve other women's access to and experiences in the outdoors, Sasha launched Female Focused Adventures, a production company that focuses on storytelling in the female adventure arena and empowering female content creators.
Due to her achievements, DiGiulian has received attention from all over the world. She has graced the covers of 27 magazines and appeared on shows like Oprah, Good Morning America, The Today Show, 60 Minutes Sports, Nightline, CNN, BBC, Vogue and TIME. The American Alpine Club Robert Hicks Bates Award, given to young climbers who have "great promise for future accomplishment," the Golden Piton Award, the Arco Rock Legend Award, and other awards were given to her.
