Pheelz is the stage name of Phillip Kayode Moses, a Nigerian record producer, singer, and songwriter who has collaborated with numerous singers and acts, including Olamide and Tiwa Savage. Pheelz, a Lagos native who was reared in the city, is credited with producing all but one track on Olamide's "Baddest Guy Ever Liveth" album. He and Bnxn collaborated on the song "Finesse," which became a smash in 2022. (formerly known as Buju). Although Pheelz is an Ogun State native, he was born and reared in the Lagos State local government area of Ojo. As a 10-year-old church vocalist, he got his start in music. Pheelz attended Ideal Comprehensive High School while still in high school in Ajangbandi Afromedia. Later, he worked for I.D. Cabassa at Coded Tunes, the record label where he first met Olamide. He contributed vocals to the song "I'm Going In" from Olamide's Rapsodi album in 2011. Shortly after his single "Finesse" achieved international success and earned him his first career entry on the Billboard Global 200 at number 131, the TurnTable Top 50 at number 1, the World Digital Song Sales at number 10, the U.K. Afrobeats Singles Chart at number 1, and the U.K. Singles Chart at number 52, he signed a record deal with Warner U.K. on March 15, 2022..
