A international avant-garde pop music ensemble called Ora The Molecule combines retro electronica, mellow pop and timeless nostalgia to produce an original sound. This is a brand-new sound for the pop music scene, with tunes that have emotive Calypso undertones yet are nonetheless inexorably danceable.
Inspired by Norwegian singer Siri Nilsen, Suzanne Vega, Kraftwerk, Fleetwood Mac and Mecano.  Singer/songwriter Nora was raised in Norway, Italy and Spain.
She was a member of an all-female marimba trio that performed in Oslo cable cars. Soon after, she received an invitation to see her biological father, an American/Guatemalan who resides in Los Angeles. She unexpectedly learned that her hispanic relatives were active in gangs and LA's Cholo culture, a society that was very different from her own.
Her songwriting was influenced by the dichotomy in her family. She began studying journalism, stayed in LA and felt the urge to share what she had seen. To make ends meet while attempting to succeed as a songwriter, she drove an Uber and worked as a dishwasher.
Nora met Sju, a hat maker from Slovakia with a shop in London. In America, Sju was displaying her headgear. Over an impromptu talk, they decided to collaborate on a piece of music. Sju acquired her first drum kit when she returned to London. In LA around this time, Nora met Jan, a German synthesizer and keyboard player who was visiting the US at the time. They began creating songs together and established the record label since friends can always be recognized..
