The band set out to record the greatest songs they could in 3 days with a total budget of $0 and only one week of experience as a band. The EP was finished after three days of working obscenely long hours whenever they could go into the studio the next day. The band had no idea that week they were not even permitted in the studio. So, out of remorse and fear, they removed all of their data from the studio computer and every Domino's crumb off the studio couch before leaving with their complete EP on a hard drive in a backpack.
They began their headlining Better Than Ever Tour, which also included Girlhouse and Spencer Fort (of Mothé). Since the first record was issued during the pandemic, Anderson has said that the tour cycle will center around two albums. They announced the Back & Better Than Ever Tour, the second part of their tour. The trip began at the Sonoma Harvest Festival in Sonoma and concluded in Ventura. Both CARR and Arlie were on the trip.
