Innovative strategist, business developer, expert in sports and cultural diplomacy and public affairs officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves, Omari Faulkner  oversees human capital investment, organizational diversity, workforce development, veteran outreach and strategic company investments in his capacity as Employer of Choice Ambassador for ManTech International.
Mr. Faulkner played basketball for the men's team at Georgetown University while there. He worked for the Department of State in a number of positions after graduating from Georgetown, including Sports & Cultural Envoy, Financial Management Officer and Human Resource Officer. His outstanding performance in these roles has brought him widespread acclaim and illustrious honors. His passion for education, sports diplomacy and cultural diplomacy was stoked by his time at Georgetown and the State Department.
He is currently an adjunct professor at Georgetown University where he teaches master's level courses on the development of sports leadership. Most recently, he received the Georgetown Excellence in Teaching Award. Mr. Faulkner continues to pursue his ardent enthusiasm for education in his capacity as a trustee of the Loudoun Education Foundation. He continues to be aware of the state of education and is committed to helping students, parents and administrators build their leadership skills.
In order to assist cultural and educational diplomacy initiatives on both a domestic and international scale, he formed O Street International, a non-profit organization.
Athlete for Life, Mr. Faulkner's next book project, offers a framework for a new student athlete's development and gives student athletes with a blueprint for success. Mr. Faulkner has combined his experience as a worldwide sports envoy and prominent champion for education.
