Stanley Tucci is an American actor, writer, producer, director, and former model who is best known for his roles in numerous films over the years which include playing Abraham in the film “Captain America: The First Avenger,” Caesar in “The Hunger Games” film franchise, and many more. Tucci was born in Peekskill, New York, and he began his career acting at his school’s drama club before going on to earn his degree in acting from State University of New York. Tucci later began working as a model where he was known for his work in a television commercial for Levi’s 501 jeans. He also made his acting debut in the Broadway production of ‘The Queen and the Rebels.’ Tucci then followed up his stage credits with ‘The Misanthrope,’ ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs,’ and ‘The Iceman Cometh,’ before going on to make his film debut in “Prizzi’s Honor.” Since then, Tucci has gone on to act in numerous films which include “Beethoven,” “A Modern Affair,” “Montana,” “Sidewalks of New York,” “America’s Sweethearts,” “Road to Perdition,” “The Devil Wears Prada,” “The Lovely Bones,” “Easy A,” “Julie & Julia,” “Gambit,” “Mr. Peabody & Sherman,” “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and many more.
