Wallice is an indie pop prodigy whose self-deprecating, tongue-in-cheek choruses have quickly made her one of Gen Z's most fascinating new talents. Wallice began playing her first instrument in middle school and began creating songs. She was influenced by the poetry of Thom Yorke, Lana Del Rey and the punk irreverence of Weezer and No Doubt. Later, Wallice joined her high school band. Throughout her teens, she also did modeling and acting, with the help of her former actress mother. She is a proud college dropout who spent a year studying jazz vocal performance at the New School in New York City before returning to California and meeting marinelli, a childhood friend who helped her develop the melancholy indie pop sound that propelled her to fame.
Wallice went even farther with her second EP, 90's American Superstar, which followed the life and times of a fictionalized version of herself. She ended the year on a high note with a sold-out US solo tour and the lovely personal song and video "Japan." Wallice is releasing her third EP while on tour with the 1975, which will take her to Asia and Australia. After that, she'll go on a summer headline US tour before visiting the UK for Reading and Leeds.
