Pahuldip Singh Sandhu, better known as Steel Banglez, is a British record producer and musician who has collaborated with a number of artists in the UK music scene. He was born in Forest Gate on February 5th, 1987, and raised in Newham, East London, in a Sikh home with a mother who taught music. At an early age, Sandhu was surrounded by traditional Indian instruments, which sparked his passion in music. He began DJing at the age of 10, playing jungle music with his siblings. Later, he started hosting a program on the underground radio station Mystic FM, and in his early teens, he eventually began making music.

The Big H freestyle from the Practise Hours 2 DVD, which gained him recognition and exposure in the UK music scene, was Sandhu's big break. Yet his professional career was abruptly put on hold when, at the age of 17, he was arrested for having a gun with the intent to threaten lives. Despite this setback, Sandhu kept on writing songs while he was incarcerated, and after his release, he restarted his music career with even more vigor and devotion.

Since then, Steel Banglez has established himself as one of the UK's most in-demand producers, working with musicians including Mist, MoStack, J Hus, and Wiley. "Bad," which peaked at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart in February 2018, gave him his first chart success as a lead artist. AJ Tracey and MoStack's "Fashion Week," which peaked at number 7, is his highest-charting song to date. A record deal with Warner Bros.
