Mike Breen, a seasoned NBA play-caller, serves as the NBA's primary announcer for ESPN and ABC, as well as for the NBA Finals and NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC. Breen set a season record by calling the NBA's marquee event 18 times.
Alongside courtside colleague Walt "Clyde" Frazier, a former New York Knicks player, Breen serves as the primary play-by-play announcer for New York Knicks telecasts on MSG Network. The two have been a part of MSG Network's telecasts for years and originally began calling Knicks games together on the radio.
Breen has provided play-by-play for the NFL for NBC and FOX, as well as coverage of the WNBA, men's and women's basketball at several Olympic Games and the NBA.
Breen was the recipient of the Outstanding Personality/Play-by-Play Sports Emmy. He also received the Curt Gowdy Media Award from the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
