The first lineup of Kes included bassist Riad Boochoon, a boyhood friend and flamboyant singer Kees Dieffenthaller, also known as Kes. The brothers Jon and Hans played drums and guitar, respectively. Radio stations in the Caribbean, North America and the United Kingdom have supported the songs, and the videos for both tracks, which were directed by Trinidadian filmmaker Maya Cozier, have been on BET Soul, BET Jams and Revolt TV.
