Danielle Colby, who is most recognized for her role as the shop manager on History's "American Pickers," adores and collects everything old. Danielle is in charge of the Antique Archeaology locations in Nashville and Iowa, where she also finds fresh and interesting finds and, of course, makes sure Mike and Frank stay in place.
Originally from Iowa, Danielle now resides in Puerto Rico where she continues to support the island's reconstruction while also volunteering her time to support animal shelters, orphanages and campaigns to increase public awareness of the problem of human trafficking. Danielle has accumulated quite the collection of vintage clothes, spanning from burlesque outfits from the early 1800s to circus attire. Danielle is fascinated to anything that has a narrative and she keeps discovering previously undiscovered details about people and things from all over the world.
Danielle is also Dannie Diesel, the swaying and shaking Queen of Rust, when she's not busy herding the males in line at the business. Although she specializes in historical strip tease and burlesque costumes, she celebrates the history of these items and the performers who used them, paying tribute to all the pioneers of modern dance who made their mark on the world stage. These costumes have been refurbished with Danielle's unique touch and may be seen on numerous national stages. She spends her time practicing circus arts and various types of dance in between studying and refurbishing these outfits. Both on and off the stage and screen, Danielle never stops encouraging and advocating for healthy living and self-love..
