BODIES had to postpone recording plans and cancel gigs due to a slew of fractured bones and illness. However, guitarist and lead singer David Anthony McGeown was determined not to let that derail the band's momentum. As usual, David bought studio equipment to try his hand at producing, but his arm cast prevented him from playing the guitar for a while.
The resultant mixtape of covers, originals, and reimaginings is possibly BODIES most interesting work to date. He is always productive and adventurous. This is simply the first of three mixtapes that BODIES intends to release this year.
The band is thrilled to be playing live again and has already secured two headline dates in June at The Workman's Club with their good friends, prog-rock group Synk, and as special guests on Donegal band Constant Supply's Irish tour at Whelan's (Dublin) and Pharmacia (Limerick)..
