Prior to joining the mysterious sensation Orville Peck, Salmena gained recognition as the frontwoman of the critically acclaimed Canadian experimental post-punk band FRIGS, which she co-founded with longtime partner, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Duncan Hay Jennings. For the previous five years, Salmena toured the globe as an essential and recognizable member of Peck's live band.
