At the age of five, he suffered a head injury that caused him to struggle academically. He even thought for a long that he would never be able to learn as well as other children.
When traditional schooling failed to satisfy Jim's childhood passion of superheroes, comic books came to his rescue. Jim learned to read via comic books, and they also sustained his hope that he would discover his inner superpower.
As the years passed, Jim was guided by fate to a mentor—the father of a friend—who set him on a quest to understand and utilize his brain. Jim had no idea that it would lead him down a lengthy path of adopting new habits, including accelerated learning strategies and systems.
Jim learned that we can reconstruct our brains under any conditions. After working on himself, he came to the conclusion that his brain was in good shape and only required a better owner's handbook. Jim's own limiting views were dispelled by this, and he eventually developed a passion for assisting others in doing the same.
