Made up of members Peter Moren on vocals, guitar, and harmonica; Bjorn Yttling on vocals, bass, and keyboards; and John Eriksson on drums, percussion, and vocals. The band is influenced by the sounds of classic ’60s baroque pop, power pop, and new wave. The band gained lots of critical recognition in Great Britain and USA due to the hit single “Young Folks”, whilst the band has stayed virtually unknown in their homeland of Sweden. The single reached the top 20 on the UK Singles Chart, and it was featured in the football video game called FIFA 08, the pilot episode of the show Gossip Girl, and the soundtrack of the sitcom How I Met Your Mother. It reached number 16 in the Triple J Hottest 100 one year. The trio has also released an EP entitled Forbidden Chords, and singles entitled “I Don’t Know What I Want Us to Do” and “Failing and Passing.” They have released the albums Falling Out, Writer’s Block, Seaside Rock, Living Thing, and Gimme Some.
