Chris Hardwick Booking Agency Profile
Following his nerdly impulses, Chris became determined to work in science programming and in August of ‘07 landed his dream job of hosting Wired Science for PBS and Wired Magazine. His signature WiSci segment, “What’s Inside” was an instant hit after casually being placed on YouTube by PBS, garnering over 100,000 downloads in its first couple of days alone. Hardwick parlayed this into a writing job for Wired Magazine and recently joined G4’s Attack of the Show as the resident technical correspondent. To satisfy his inner cartoon nerd, he also voices the lead character of Otis the Cow on Nickelodeon’s highest rated Saturday morning show, Back at the Barnyard.
In addition to a flourishing solo stand-up career, in 2003 Hardwick joined forces with his best friend Mike Phirman to form the mega-nerd musical comedy duo Hard ‘n Phirm and found a massive Internet following with a video about the numerical value of Pi. HnP has played at numerous festivals including Aspen, the Vancouver Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, Just for Laughs in Montreal, Bumbershoot in Seattle, SxSW in Austin and Coachella with the Comedians of Comedy. The guys recently capped off a massively successful college tour with their very own Comedy Central half hour, Comedy Central Presents: Hard ‘n Phirm, set to air in early 2008.
Currently he is a writer for Wired Magazine and is the face of AMC's first live after show Talking Dead, which airs as a platform to discuss the network's highly rated show The Walking Dead. He also hosts Talking Saul for Breaking Bad's spin-off, Better Call Saul.
Older credits include Singled Out, Shipmates, numerous hosting jobs on such networks as ALL OF THEM and acting jobs ranging from shows like CSI to films like Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines and Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses. In 2006 he joined Kyle Gass (Tenacious D) and Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde on Broadway) to portray rock star super-jerk Stacee Jaxx in the 80’s hair metal musical Rock of Ages, which played in Los Angeles to rabid heshers and sold-out crowds.
Chris founded Nerdist.com, a website and podcast devoted to all things nerd related. The website merged with GeekChicDaily to form Nerdist Industries, with Hardwick serving as Founder & Chief Creative Officer, and digital media entrepreneur Peter Levin serving as Chief Executive Officer.
No matter the medium, Chris Hardwick has always had a skill for re-invention, adaptation, and an intense commitment to his writing that can only be described as “really geeky.”".

The final Chris Hardwick booking price is contingent on many variables and the booking fee we may show is based on a range derived from our past experience with what will Chris Hardwick charge for an event. An example fee to book Chris Hardwick is in the starting range of $75,000-$149,999. However, any recent popularity change would cause a price fluctuation well beyond this example. Also, their speaking fee might be different than the fee shown for the cost to perform or to just appear. Popularity, career stage, along with current demand will cause fluctuations in their speaking price as well. The final booking price may be more than what is shown, but you should at least have a budget within that range for them to consider an appearance, performance or speaking engagement.
CTI negotiates on behalf of professional event planners and talent buyers for paid appearances! We cannot give out direct contact information of the Chris Hardwick agent or help distribute fan mail, personal messages, gifts, requests for free appearances, or donations of time. The Chris Hardwick manager and agent will only work with us if we present them with funded offers for their client to work your event.
There is low probability to book Chris Hardwick for a party with anything substantially less than the published booking cost price range. We will negotiate with the Chris Hardwick agent on your behalf if your funding is in place. By not having funding ready then it will more difficult to book Chris Hardwick, because they get many offers to work events that are at or above asking price. It is also important to consider the travel costs when researching the Chris Hardwick booking fee, as additional expenses like this, as well as an entourage of staff and equipment, are not necessarily built-in to the booking fee range shown. If your budget does not factor that in, then there is no benefit for them to want to be hired. We do not personally speak for Chris Hardwick, but in our experience in booking talent for over 25 years, this is generally the outcome of inadequate funding.
